Dr. Barbara
Primm
Dr. Barbara R. Primm is an accomplished educator, business strategist, nonprofit consultant, and community leader with more than twenty years of experience helping organizations build capacity, strengthen leadership, and create lasting impact. Her expertise spans nonprofit development, workforce development, business consulting, accreditation, program design, board governance, and organizational sustainability.
Dr. Primm holds a Doctor of Education in Instructional Leadership with a specialization in Andragogy (Adult Learning), a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Management. Her unique blend of academic expertise and real-world leadership experience allows her to guide organizations from vision to implementation with practical, results-driven solutions.
As the Founder and Principal Consultant of All Things Business, LLC, Dr. Primm has assisted nonprofit organizations, faith-based institutions, small businesses, and community leaders in establishing strong organizational foundations, developing fundable programs, securing tax-exempt status, strengthening governance practices, and pursuing sustainable growth strategies. Her mission is to empower organizations with the tools, knowledge, and infrastructure necessary to achieve long-term success.
Dr. Primm currently serves as a Commissioner with the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), where she helps uphold global standards for continuing education and professional development. She is also the Founder of Literacy & Education Applied with Purpose (LEAP), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunities and resources for underserved communities.
Throughout her career, Dr. Primm has served in executive leadership positions, on nonprofit boards, and as a facilitator and trainer for organizations including United Way, the Saint Louis Development Corporation, and numerous nonprofit and community-based organizations. Her work focuses on helping organizations transform ideas into actionable strategies that improve communities and strengthen organizational effectiveness.
A certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), Dr. Primm is committed to advancing economic opportunity, educational excellence, and community empowerment. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where she actively supports initiatives centered on public service, education, and economic development.
